At Cambridge Place,
"My job at Cambridge Place and Blue Valley Senior Living brings me in touch with people on a personal level. When you are involved in caring for people, you have the privilege of being allowed into their lives. My work here has given me a deep connection with so many people that I never would have met otherwise."

The Board of Directors is composed of local residents who are committed to providing the best senior care available in the area.
Cambridge Place opened as a 60-bed facility, with 16 private rooms and 20 assisted living apartments in 1992. Soon after, Blue Valley Senior Living in Blue Rapids was acquired in 1999 by Blue Valley Health Care, which, along with its predecessors, has provided health care in Marshall County since the early 1970’s.
The facility is operated and managed by Arbor Springs Management Services in Kansas City. Arbor Springs has been involved in long-term health care since Charles and Mary Wurth opened Mid-America Health Centers in rural Kansas in 1969. Today, they own and/or manage nine facilities. The managing partners are Charles and Mary’s sons, Chuck and David Wurth.
Along with the Wurths as investors, are Marysville residents Kirk and Anne Bradford, and Jeff and Maureen Crist.
Today Blue Valley Health Care is the largest provider of nursing home, assisted living and dementia care programs in Marshall County and remain committed to providing services to the aging population.
